VALEO

My Valeo Experience was split in 2 positions:

From Oct 2007 jan 2009: VALEO Transmission Japan

TASKS: project manager of SAP MPS/MRP and SIOP process, (SD)  Implementing logistic sequencer, VRO (visual re-order), Kosu management and QRQC logistic. TT (throughput time) From 23 days to 19 days
Custom control, and export/import management.
The Valeo Atsugi Factory was already running SAP from a previous roll out, but production and PP functionality were not functional,  so we asset the system issue , and perform a back to basic + training of user, to enhance SAP usage we also implement SAP Bi.
thank to a hard work on information system and on logistic system we had impressive result on the TT (throughput time) – 18 % From 23 days to 19 days. and drastically improving logistic flow.
VROFrom Sep 2005, sep 2007: VALEO, Compressor branch Based in Japan:

Tasks: analyze Gap between production and logistic process and Standard Valeo SAP system, the target was no extra development vs Standard, so we manage workshop to fit production and logistic processes to Valeo standard.
China: SAP Implementation Project as coordinator on MM, SD, PP, Inventory management, EDI. From September 2006 to January 2007.

Task: Same as above

My Point of view about this position:

Pros:
-Definitely the most interesting position i hold so far, the Valeo employees involvement is pretty strong, everything is made to get employee initiative, any goods ideas are quickly spread within the all group.

Cons:
- 2008 automotive and finance crisis hit hard and slow down too many projects and business.
